Challenging behaviours are not only unsafe and destructive to self and others, but can also impede learning, lead to social isolation and school exclusion/expulsion. As a Behaviour Analyst we believe that behaviours is communication, but it can be especially hard to see that when your child is engaging in aggressive, destructive or self-injurious behaviours
We will conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) in order to determine why your child is engaging in challenging behaviour and develop a plan to decrease those behaviours and increase appropriate replacement behaviours.
In addition, parents and caregivers will receive training and resources that will be helpful in decreasing their child's challenging behaviours as well as maintain the results over time.
Number of hours of intervention are determined based on assessment.
